Some fun things

The Superman commission was for a lady at my work. It's her as lois Lane and her husband as Superman for there Anniversary coming up. How sweet. Also, I drew this family of kids as a group of superheroes because they are a cool bunch of kids to hang out with.

RubleCon 2012

Hey everyone,

I had an amazing time yesterday getting to meet comic book fans and sharing my art. I am free to work on commissions, storyboards, logos, character designs, etc. Just send me an e-mail to Camburo7@gmail.com. I have posted a picture of my first "Official" autograph I gave yesterday. I had the opportunity to draw two commisions one of The Darkness and one of a kid named Isaac as The Hulk. I can't wait to do it all again. Look for my in Springfield in December and possibly in Camdenton in October.

Check out my good friends at ww.FlyByKnightEntertainment.com. They did great and sold almost all of their first run of "Zee the American Maniac." Great book guys. Keep checking back here for more updates and more drawings. Thanks to everyone again who stopped by and said hi yesterday.

You got me going like "HieHieHie"

Hello all,

What a beautiful day! I plucked this sweet dogwood flower today. Also, here are some sketchbook pages from the last couple of days. I love the old lady zombie. Leave a comment, if you dare.

Sketchbook

I love me some sketching. For me all this makes sense, for you, probably not so much. My sketchbook is my place to put down ideas till I pick them back up again and put them into something permanent, or just practice. Right now I am focusing on clothing wrinkles and folds. These are sketches from last week.

Tell me what you think.

Vision Con and beyond

This weekend was fantastic. I went to Vision Con with my friend and renown comic book artist David Faught. I was a little overwhelmed at first because of all the costumes and general con craziness, but after meeting a few people and seeing a couple of panels I found a good grove and made some great connections. I hope to do some work here soon for a company in Saint Louis called Black Pigeon Press.

Happy Birthday Abe lincoln

It's a little late but thank you Abe for your ideas, and for setting the bar so low on physical appearance for presidency.

As for me I have been taking every spare second to work on some comic book pages for a comic script I found on the internet call "Silent Dragon." VisionCon is this weekend and I need work to showcase my skillz. I have already learned so much I didn't know about drawing from a script and my own mental process. I confess I am a little slow on the drawing side but that will improve with practice. Thank you David Faught for helping me and for challenging me to work hard for this Con.

Oh, it's Valentine's Day! Paige and I will be celebrating our Valentine's on Friday, but my mother is hosting a dinner for us and few others (including David Faught and chinese foreign exchange students). I am stoked. Anywho, love to laugh and laugh at people in love, cause they are a funny.
